Trouble is brewing in the land of Gaia. Up until now, the kingdoms of Alexandra, Lindbulm, Burmecia and Cleyra have been ruling peacefully. Upon hearing of the trouble between kingdoms, Regent Cid sends the rouge group of theives, Tantalus to kidnap Princess Garnet and bring her to Lindbulm. As the theives escape with Garnet, their ship crashes into the Petrifying Forest. The quest begins here.
Final Fantasy IX strays away from its predecessors and introduces unique characters and a unique story. Classic Final Fantasy elements are brought back, such as the 4-member party, job classifications, and abilities. Zidane and his friends must find out what is causing turmoil in Gaia, and surpress it. Final Fantasy IX is an epic adventure to be remembered for decades.
